It has been felt that there is a tremendous need of trained teachers in secondary and higher secondary school of our state, particularly in the district of North 24 Parganas. The Hingalganj Educational & Social welfare trust , with the help of eminent educationists and scientist of the locality, has come forward and set up Hingalganj Ambition College of Education.
